OUR CHURCH
God chooses special people to do different jobs in the church. With Pastor Rajimon leading us, we at PTC follow the big, important job that God gave us - preparing everyone in the church to do God's work.
Our vision is to create a vibrant community of believers who joyfully exalt God in everything they do. We strive to praise and honor God not just in our worship services, but in our daily lives as well.
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise-the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. - Hebrews 13:15
Our commitment is to equip each individual in our fellowship with the spiritual wisdom and practical skills necessary to serve God and humankind.
And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ - Ephesians 4:11-12
We are committed to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to our local community and beyond. We believe every Christian is called to be a messengers of the Gospel, and we create opportunities for members to share their faith.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit - Matthew 28:19
WHAT WE BELIEVE
About the Scriptures: We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.
About God: We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Saviour of the lost world.
About Humanity: We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.
About Salvation: We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.
About Christian Life: We believe all Christians should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God and daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature and be conformed to the image of Christ.
About Church: We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world.
Pr. Rajimon Oonnooni & Sis Jolly Raji
Pastor Raiimon Oonninni leads Perth Tabernacle Church (PTC) with a heart for leadership and service. Balancing pastoral duties with his secular profession, he's passionate about serving both the church and broader society. As pastor, Rajimon guides the PTC community in their faith journey.
His teachings are deeply rooted in the word of God, offering insight and wisdom that resonate with the community. Through his compelling interpretation of the Scripture, he encourages the congregation to live out their faith in practical and meaningful ways.
His wife, Jolly Raji, is a dedicated nurse with a heart for service. Her nursing background and personal passion shine through in her active role within the PTC community.
Together, they are committed to lead and serve with unwavering faith and love.
